Australians avoid toxic household cleaners

Australian consumers are increasingly choosing eco-friendly cleaning products over products containing harsh chemicals.

A national poll found half of consumers say they actively avoid purchasing household cleaners containing toxic chemicals. But many consumers still shop on “autopilot”, buying the same products out of habit.

Eight in 10 Australians believe that manufacturers should list all ingredients on labelling to help them make more environmentally conscious choices.
