Impatient mortgagees more likely to default

People who prefer short-term financial gains over long-term prosperity are more likely to default on their mortgages and receive poor credit ratings, according to new research.

The study found that survey respondents who opted for immediate rewards were deemed to have low-credit scores by finance industry specialists.
