Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations
The Australian Government, through DEEWR, is pleased to join with the Victorian Department of Business and Innovation, the Group of Eight Universities and the CSIRO in supporting The Conversation. DEEWR is the national government agency providing leadership in education and workplace training.
The Conversation will contribute to the education sector by providing a forum for informed debate that underpins a knowledge society. It will do so by targeting leaders, policy makers, the intellectually curious, and business people working in the knowledge-intensive small and medium enterprises that drive innovation and growth.
The Australian Government welcomes the provision of independent, transparent information, analysis and opinion sourced from the expertise of the university, research sector and vocational education and training sectors, which will be freely available to the public through The Conversation.
