Associate Professor in Paediatrics and Child Health, University of Sydney

Ben is a paediatrician working the Children's Hospital Westmead. He is deputy-director of the Sydney Emerging Infectious Diseases and Biosecurity Institute (SEIB) and has a long standing interest in tuberculosis. He is serves on the core executive group of the recently established NHMRC centre for research excellence (CRE) in tuberculosis, lead by professor Warwick Britton, and is a member of the WHO regional committee for drug-resistant tuberculosis in the Asia Pacific region.
