Mianna Lotz is Associate Professor in Philosophy at Macquarie University. She teaches and researches in ethics and applied ethics, with a particular research focus on reproductive ethics, uterus transplantation, children's welfare, parental obligation, the family, and vulnerability. She is currently Chair of the Macquarie University Faculty of Arts Human Research Ethics Sub-Committee. She has published in edited collections and in journals such as Bioethics, Journal of Applied Philosophy, Journal of Social Philosophy, Lancet, and Annals of Surgery.
