Associate Professor Vicki Kotsirilos AM

Associate Professor Vicki Kotsirilos AM is a respected general practitioner with over 30 years of clinical experience at the Dunstan Dental & Medical Clinic in Melbourne (www.dunstandental.com.au).
A/Professor Kotsirilos holds three Adjunct Associate Professorial positions with Monash University, the University of Western Sydney, NICM and with La Trobe University, Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition, Faculty of Health Sciences.
In June 2016, A/Professor Kotsirilos was awarded a Member (AM) in the General Division of the Order of Australia for 'significant service to integrative medicine, to health practitioner standards and regulations, to medical education, and to the environment'.
In January 2017, A/Professor Kotsirilos was awarded an Australia Day Environmental Award by Bayside City Council where she resides, for "Recognising outstanding and long-term leadership, action, and advocacy for coastal and natural heritage protection in the City of Bayside, and generating community awareness of the value of our Bayside environment."
In 2014, A/Professor Kotsirilos was awarded the Australasian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) Award in "recognition of outstanding service in the field of Nutritional and Environmental" Medicine.
In 2007, A/Professor Kotsirilos was awarded the General Practice Excellence award by AGPAL and in 2013 she received an Honorary Fellowship Award by the RACGP.
Vicki is a Medical Writer and contributes a regular monthly column for Medical Observer titled ‘Integrative Perspective’. She is also co-author (lead) of textbook: A guide to Evidence-based Integrative and Complementary Medicine (Elsevier).
