Adam Vogel

Adam leads the Centre for Neuroscience of Speech at The University of Melbourne where his team works toward improving communication and swallowing function in people with progressive and acquired brain disorders. He is currently an Australian Research Council Future Fellow and is a Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology at The University of Melbourne. He holds a PhD in behavioural neuroscience from the University of Melbourne and undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in psychology and speech pathology from the University of Queensland. He continues to work as consultant speech pathologist in the Friedreich Ataxia Clinic and the Eastern Cognitive Disorders Clinic, Melbourne as well as the National Ataxia Telangiectasia Clinic in Brisbane.

He is chief science officer of Redenlab, a US-Australian neuroscience technology company that uses speech and language biometrics to enhance decision making in clinical trials., health research & workforce monitoring.
