Darshini Ayton is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Health Social Science, Monash University. Her thesis is exploring the local church as a partner and setting for health promotion in Victoria. She is also an Assistant Lecturer and teaches public health, epidemiology, statistics and population health. Her research interests include the social determinants of health, mental health, health inequities, health promotion and capacity building.
