Esther Chihye Kim is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Sociology at Yale University. Her dissertation is on undocumented immigrants living and working in the U.S. Her research interests include ethnographic methods, undocumented labor, deviance, and urban sociology. From her dissertation research, she has articles published in Ethnography (2009), ANNALS (2012) and Symbolic Interaction (2012).
