My PhD was in Mathematical/Health Psychology for the examination of nonlinear models in the context of adolescent smoking behaviour. In previous careers, I worked for the Australian Public Service (ATO/CSA and DVA), an Executive Management Consultant and Consultant Psychometrician.

My main research interest is looking at integrity management in sport, particularly through the lens of drug control in sport (alcohol, illicit drugs and doping). In particular, I am interested in the non-sexy end such as how anti-doping affects athlete support personnel, non-elite sport and sports practice. Following almost a decade of research in the area I have come to the conclusion that alternatives to anti-doping are needed to achieve effective management of drugs in sport.
