John Wiseman is a Professorial Fellow with the Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute, and Energy Transition Research Hub, University of Melbourne; a Research Fellow with the Centre for Climate Economics and Policy, Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University; and a Research Fellow with the Centre for Policy Development. Previous academic and public policy roles include Deputy Director, Melbourne Sustainable Society Institute; Foundation Director, McCaughey Centre for Community Wellbeing, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health and Assistant Director, Policy Development and Research, Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet. The main focus of his current research is on strategies for accelerating the transition to a just and resilient zero-carbon economy.
