Summary
I am a research professor in Anthropology at the Australian National University in Canberra. My research currently focuses on four broad areas: Alternative development for difference: the Indigenous hybrid and domestic moral economies; the links between poverty alleviation and natural and cultural resource management on the Indigenous estate; the Northern Territory Emergenecy Response Intervention and its aftermath; and Indigenous policy reform especially in the areas of the Community Development Employment Projects scheme and housing and land tenure.
