Professor & William G. Davis Chair in Community College Leadership, University of Toronto

Leesa Wheelahan is a professor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto, where she holds the William G. Davis Chair in Community College Leadership. She is also an Honorary Senior Fellow at the LH Martin Institute, Centre for the Study of Higher Education, at the University of Melbourne. Her research interests include the relationship between the vocational education and training and higher education sectors, lifelong learning, tertiary education policy, student equity, and the role of theoretical knowledge in curriculum. She has worked in the adult and community education sector, as a VET teacher, and as a higher education academic.
