Summary
Dr. Ranjana Srivastava is a medical oncologist, author and commentator. After receiving an international education in India, the U.K and the U.S.A, she graduated from medicine at Monash University with high distinction. In 2004 she won Australia's highest-ranked postgraduate Fulbright Award to study communication and ethics at the University of Chicago. Her book, Tell Me the Truth: Conversations with My Patients about Life and Death was published in 2010 and was shortlisted for the NSW Premier's Literary Awards. Ranjana's writings are published in The Age, the New England Journal of Medicine and many other publications. Ranjana works and teaches in the public health system. She has also worked as an international volunteer. Ranjana and her husband have three young children.
