Richard Walker teaches educational psychology at the University of Sydney. He has published a number of journal articles and book chapters on various aspects of learning and motivation. In recent years he has been involved in applying sociocultural theories to the understanding of learning and motivation. This interest has led to recent publications in which homework has been considered from the perspective of sociocultural theories.
