Teenagers ‘overshare’ online

A quarter of teenagers are online for non-school related work for more than four hours a day, a new study by Edith Cowan University in Western Australia has shown.

The researchers found 41% share personal details such as phone numbers online and 24% have shared their social networking site password with others. The research also found that despite this, 85% said that privacy was important to them.
