Understanding the stereotypes surrounding the sex roles of children

Young children are unaware of gender or racial stereotyping until about the age of 5.

A team from Fried­rich Schil­ler Univer­sity has developed a programme for young children aimed preventing the formation of prejudiced views. The study also shows that prejudices begin to form at a key developmental age.
