We can all get along, despite our differences

Cosmopolitanism, the theory that all people belong to the same community with a shared moral compass, may be more than a vision, despite recent international conflicts.

A new paper suggests that the cosmopolitan dream where we all live in peace can be justified if we examine the historical tendencies of the human experience.

It argues that if we believe in the theory pragmatically as a set of ethics and ideals, we could achieve a cosmopolitan world.
