Women more attracted by a healthy glow than manliness

Having a healthy glowing skin colour is more important to women than a rugged jaw line or masculine features.

Researchers at the Face Perception Group at the University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus found women who were shown faces of men with more “golden” healthy skin were more likely to rate them as attractive. This was even more important than the “manliness” of the face, which was calculated mathematically.
