A new composite of graphene has been found to be tougher then Kevlar, and cheaper to make.
Scientists at the University of Wollongong developed a “magic mix” of graphene and carbon nanotubes that can be used to reinforce advanced composite materials.
The new fibre can be easily produced in large quantities, prompting researchers to label it “bullet-proof”.
