Transgendered people who share their gender identity with co-workers are happier and more productive than workers who don’t share their gender identity.
Researchers interviewed 88 transgendered people across the United States about their experiences in the workplace. Researchers found that individuals who were open with family and friends about their identity were more likely to disclose their gender identity in the workplace.
