Originally a panel beater for 8 years, the study of work has been a pre-occupation of Roger and he completed his PhD on the introduction of Japanese management techniques in the Australian car industry. Roger's interests and teaching include; family, gender and sexuality; new forms of work, organisation and career; qualitative research methods; and, introduction to criminology. Currently, he is also involved in using new media to provide dynamic ways of teaching and learning. Roger is a member of TASA (The Australian Sociological Association).
