Albert Kasanda is a researcher at the Centre of Global Studies of the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. He has an expertise in intercultural and comparative philosophy, as well as Latin American and African philosophy. Kasanda’s recent book is Contemporary African Social and Political Philosophy: Trends, Debates and Challenges (2018). His current research focuses on African youth and civil society as well as on African intercultural philosophy.
