Caroline Fisher is an Associate Professor of Communication in the Faculty of Arts & Design at the University of Canberra. She is a core member of the News & Media Research Centre and co-author of the annual Digital News Report: Australia. Caroline researches and teaches in journalism and political communication. Prior to academia, she was a journalist with the ABC, and political media advisor to Anna Bligh in the Beattie Government (1998-2001).
