Damien Giurco

Damien Giurco is Professor of Resource Futures and Associate Director Research at the UTS Institute for Sustainable Futures.

His research interests span the minerals, energy, waste and water sectors; circular economy and sustainable consumption and production. With a focus on both individual and collaborative transitions, Damien’s research aims to foster the implementation of urban and industrial infrastructure which supports responsible patterns of resource use in the digital age.

Presently, Damien is a Director of the Product Stewardship Centre of Excellence (https://stewardshipexcellence.com.au/) and leads a project on life cycle assessment and certification of responsible battery minerals supply within the Future Battery Industries Cooperative Research Centre (www.fbicrc.com.au)
