Lecturer, researcher and campaigner. I have taught social sciences and humanities at European and Asian universities. I currently lecture in philosophy at Hoa Sen university, Ho Chi Minh City.
I am the Founder and director of EthicsAndGenetics.org, an independent, not-for-profit, organisation. We campaign for responsible life science governance through public consultation, engagement and education.
I have published academic articles and book chapters in ethics and philosophy, as well as articles on a range of topics that have been published widely, including the the Guardian and Newsweek. In 2017, I was invited to give expert advice at the UK Parliament about gene editing and genomics.
