Laboratories and Technical Services Manager at the School of Environment Science & Engineering, Southern Cross University

Graeme Palmer trained in forestry and computer science at the Australian National University receiving bachelors degrees in 1989.

For 10 years to 2000 Graeme worked in Queensland in wood science and processing research before joining SCU to complete a PhD qualification in wood conversion simulation.

Graeme also has extensive technical experience in wood processing and has worked at various times in Asia, America, Europe and the south Pacific.

Currently Graeme is working in the fields of hardwood plantations silviculture and bio resource utilisation.
