Research Fellow in Behaviour Change, Monash University

Dr Jim Curtis is a research fellow at BehaviourWorks Australia - a joint venture between the Monash Sustainability Institute, EPA Victoria, The Shannon Company and Sustainability Victoria that brings together interdisciplinary researchers with leading practitioners who share an interest in behaviour change research and environmental sustainability. Jim's core research interests lie in the area of understanding and influencing human behaviour using applied interdisciplinary learnings, with a specific focus on achieving sustainable outcomes with practical relevance. Jim holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in environmental planning and human behaviour, and has worked with a range of industry partners including Parks Victoria, Zoos Victoria, Sustainability Victoria, EPA Victoria, the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service, the Swan River Trust, The Shannon and Metricon. Prior to joining BehaviourWorks Australia, Jim held research positions with Parks Victoria and the Monash Tourism Research Unit.
