I am an ornithologist interested on a wide variety of bird-related topics from community ecology to foraging behaviour and from extra-pair paternity to bird cosmetics. At the moment however, my research focuses on two main lines of research: understanding the diversity of bird colours and bird nests as extended phenotypes. Last but not least, I have a long-standing interest in Neotropical birds, in particular birds from the Pampas and northern Patagonia in Argentina.
