Academic position - Research Associate at the Centre for Resources, Energy and Environmental Law, The University of Melbourne

Katherine has extensive experience in climate change law and public policy as a senior lawyer and adviser for international law firms, energy companies and the Australian and Victorian governments. She has specialist knowledge in international climate law. She has commercial legal experience working on innovative clean energy projects and distributed energy projects, including virtual power plants, renewable PPAs, demand response and electric vehicle programs. Her professional experience builds on Science (Environmental) and Law (Hons) degrees and a LL.M, University College London (International Energy, Finance and Environmental Law). She has taught renewable energy law as a guest lecturer in the Masters of Law program at Melbourne Law School.
