Algebraic combinatorics - Macdonald polynomials, Hall-Littlewood functions, Kostka-Foulkes polynomials.
Basic and elliptic hypergeometric series - beta integrals, series based on root systems.
q-Series and partition theory - Rogers-Ramanujan identities, Bailey's lemma, the Borwein conjecture.
Representation theory - characters of infinite dimensional Lie algebras.
Special functions - elliptic functions, orthogonal polynomials, Selberg integrals.
