Renee Desmarchelier

Renee Desmarchelier is Associate Professor (Critical Pedagogies) at the University of Southern Queensland. Renee has been involved leadership roles in learning and teaching in Higher Education at a school, faculty and university level. She has a diverse academic background that spans Humanities (sociology, Indigenous studies), Education (sociology of education, multicultural education and critical pedagogy) and Science (Horticulture). Her research interests span microcredentialing in Higher Education, the inclusion of Indigenous Knowledges in Science Education and the experiences of separated parents with the schooling system.
