Terence Jackson

Professor of Cross Cultural Management at Middlesex University Business School, London. He also holds honorary visiting research professorships at Rhodes University, Department of Management, South Africa; and at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Department of Development Studies in South Africa. He is Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Cross Cultural Management (London: Sage)

His main interest is in sub-Saharan Africa. He undertook a groundbreaking study of management and change in 15 sub-Saharan countries funded by the Danish International Development Assistance (DANIDA) leading to the publication in 2004 of a leading textbook, Management and Change in Africa: A Cross-cultural Perspective (London: Routledge). His main current interests are in the cross-cultural management of development projects and management of NGOs in Africa; China in Africa and the implications at organizational and community levels; and indigenous management and the informal economy in Africa. He also has an interest in international management and business ethics. His most recent book is International Management Ethics (Cambridge University Press)
