Vanessa Lynne has worked in the community sector as manager of a variety of projects focussing on different areas of disadvantage. Before moving to Victoria in 2004 she worked on a number of cutting edge projects in Western Australia including the Peace Education Project, Promoting Adolescent Sexual Health (PASH Project), Kidlink Early Intervention Project and a variety of training and PD development projects in industy through the Workplace English Language and Literacy Project. In Victoria she has developed her private practice as a facilitator and at the same time contributing to a number of projects with the Health Issues Centre. During her time working for Melbourne Citymission in a Neighbourhood Renewal employment project she discovered the plight of skilled migrants and as a result is the founding member of the Association of Skilled Migrants in Australia (ASMA). Currently she works as a research associate with Dr Suzy Goldsmith in the Foundation for Sustainable Economic Development.
