Arman Pili

Research affiliate, Monash University

Arman did his PhD at Monash University (January 2024). His research interest is in developing statistically robust and scientifically defensible tools that can help decision-makers in conserving biodiversity globally.

He is currently a research affiliate at Monash University, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Potsdam (Germany), and a science consultant at the ASEAN Center for Biodiversity.

On the sidelines, he is a Science Educator with Arludo (Sydney, Australia).

On his off times, Arman enjoys watching films on war, history, biography, and societal issues, painting miniatures, and world-building his next Dungeons & Dragons campaign. He also dances Salsa every Thursday and Saturday,

Arman aspires to lead his own lab at a humble and progressive university.
