Bronwyn is a PhD scholar with the University of Sydney investigating the health and husbandry of dogs in North Queensland. She is also a shelter veterinarian with RSPCA ACT and a Director of the Australian Veterinary Association. She has a Master of Science degree majoring in Animal Welfare, Ethics and Law and has Memberships with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Animal Welfare. Bronwyn also sits on an Animal Ethics Committee and volunteers for Pets in the Park.
Bronwyn has a keen interest in emerging companion animal welfare issues such as the online sale of pets, air transportation of pets, pet food regulation, use of animals in media and advertising and the impact of the human-animal bond on animal welfare.
