Elisa is a Senior Lecturer in Higher Education Curriculum and Assessment at the Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education (MCSHE), where she works to advise academics across the University of Melbourne in curriculum innovation projects, with a focus on the STEM disciplines. Elisa has a background in zoology and marine ecology and a deep interest in using education to build collaborative capacity to solve global environmental problems. Elisa is interested in interdisciplinary and authentic teaching and learning in the sciences, in the design and implementation of strategic curriculum change processes and in the effects of disruption on teaching and learning.
