Associate Professor of Sustainabilty and Social Innocation, Swinburne University of Technology

Dr Gavin Melles is currently Associate Professor and researcher affiliated with the Centre for Design Innovation, the Centre for Urban Transitions, and the CRC for Low Carbon Living. He is associate with the IEMA (International Environmental Management Association) and active in other associations. Dr Melles is stream leader on Sustainable Design for the Manufacturing Futures Research Institute (MFRI), Swinburne University. https://www.swinburne.edu.au/research-institutes/manufacturing-futures/people/ and also affiliated with the Social and Environmental Sustainability in Organisations Research Group (SESIO, Faculty of Business and Law). He is currently coordinating and associate supervisor of PhD students in faculties of engineering, architecture and design. Melles assesses and consults for the ARC, Ministry of Education Singapore, and other bodies.
