I am a Scientia PhD Scholar at the Centre for Big Data Research in Health at UNSW Sydney and Manager of Toxicity Surveillance and Response at NSW Ministry of Health, whilst on secondment from the Head of the NSW Poisons Information Centre. I also am a Clinical Associate Lecturer for the The University of Sydney School of Pharmacy. An Advanced Practice Pharmacist in Clinical Toxicology and Fellow of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia. My research is focused on toxicovigilance, particularly supplementing epidemiological studies of coded administrative datasets with qualitative case review of other routinely collected datasets such as Poisons Information Centre, NSW Health emergency presentations and the National Coronial Information System. I work closely with regulatory and injury prevention stakeholders in evaluating and recommending policy and practice changes from research on poisonings.
