Jennifer R. Schroeder

Associate Professor of Physiology, Millikin University

Dr. Jennifer Schroeder is an Associate Professor of Biology at Millikin University. Her courses are geared towards a diverse selection of students, ranging from first-year to graduate students, and both majors and non-majors. She currently serves as Vice Chair for the Millikin Council on Student and Academic Standards. Additionally, Dr. Schroeder is a molecular physiologist with a focus in reproductive endocrinology, currently studying the regulation of estrogen-responsive genes in human breast cancer cells. She is also interested in the effects of endocrine disruptors, including pesticides and herbicides, on cancer and reproductive development. She is also passionate about curbing plagiarism in college courses, speaking and blogging to assist faculty and students in finding ways to utilize anti-plagiarism software to increase originality and integrity in student writing.
