Joseph’s research interests mainly focus on Environmental Health Psychology exploring the associations of exposure to aircraft noise on learners’ reading comprehension, health, and annoyance; School Adjustment Issues, exploring bullying, learning, attentional difficulties, defiant and oppositional behaviour, managing peer pressure, and identity issues; Career Counselling of youth in marginalised communities; Teaching and Learning with focus on academic under-preparedness, attrition and throughputs rates of first year students; and Transformation of higher education institutions.
