Lisa N. Martinez is a PhD candidate in the Geography Department at UCLA specializing in paleobiogeography. She received her MA in Geography and her BA in Geography/Environmental Studies from UCLA. Lisa works on issues of climatic and ecological change in California, primarily through the use of lake sediment cores and biological proxies.
