I've trained and worked in public health for over a decade. Initially working on policy, reporting and program development in the area of perinatal depression and anxiety. In 2017 I moved into the field of gerontology and recently submitted my PhD at the Department of Forensic Medicine, Monash University, examining preventable and premature deaths of residential aged care residents applying principles of public health and Dignity of Risk. More recently I commenced working with Monash Health at the Health and Social Care Unit. Research interests include healthy ageing, dementia, Dignity of Risk, education and training, health care systems, and implementing research into practice.
