Oliver Bartlett

Oliver joined Liverpool Law School as a Lecturer in Law in August 2015. He gained LLB and MJur degrees from the University of Durham, where he is also completing his PhD. Oliver was awarded Durham Law School Scholarships to complete both his research degrees, which focus on the interface between law and public health. Oliver taught for three years at Durham as a Part Time Tutor, working on the UK Constitutional Law, EU Constitutional Law and EU Internal Market Law modules at undergraduate level, and also contributing to the Applied Research Methods module at postgraduate level. He now teaches on the Law and Social Justice module and EU Law II module in Liverpool.

He has presented his work at numerous national and international conferences, and has been invited to collaborate in policy advocacy projects in the public health law field. His next planned research projects include an exploration of paternalism in public health law and an analysis of the horizontal application of the international right to health.
