I am an Associate Professor in the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences, Co-Director of the Functions of Emotion in Everyday Life (FEEL) Lab, and a Dame Kate Campbell Fellow.
My research lies at the intersection of social, personality and clinical psychology with a focus on daily emotional functioning. I study how feelings fluctuate from moment-to-moment and how people try to influence or regulate their emotions in everyday situations. My research also aims to understand how these daily emotional processes are linked with psychological well-being and adjustment.
In addition to my primary appointment, I am also an honorary research fellow in the Research Group for Quantitative Psychology and Individual Differences at KU Leuven - University of Leuven (Belgium).
